Our native plant nursery is foundational to the success of the project.

While we do sell plants from the nursery (trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and ferns), it is equally important as a tool for teaching tree and shrub identification and the concepts of forest restoration.

Chainsaw Safety Training

Using a saw safely, thoughtfully, and with confidence.

Chainsaws are dangerous but, when used with proper training, they become an invaluable tool in helping make forests healthier. Our chainsaw safety training courses are perfect for individuals of all skill levels.  We teach the most up to date techniques in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Wabanaki-Acadian Forest

This endangered ecoregion is the focus of our restoration work. 

The native forest type of the Maritime provinces, southern Quebec and the northern New England states. This endangered forest type is a diverse mix of conifers and deciduous trees, shrubs, ferns, wildflowers, mosses, lichens and fungi. It is home to a wide variety of animals. This beautiful and complex ecoregion has innumerable ecological benefits.
