Nature Guides

Welcome to our Nature Guides!

These guides should help you become familiar with some of our Island species of plants & animals. Each guide showcases as much information as we’ve been able to observe & research when we are not planting or teaching.

As you scroll through our guides, you’ll notice some guides have more information or better photos than others. We are always looking to increase the quality and accessibility of our nature guides.

If you are interested in helping us improve these guides, whether through photos, research, writing or website development, then please contact us via phone: (902) 651-2575, email: danielmcrae@macphailwoods.org or make a donation!
