Restore an Acre
The Restore an Acre project was developed to improve the health of our Island’s forests and create an environmental stewardship model. All donations are used toward the restoration of a 220-acre Public Forest on the Selkirk Road (Route 23) in King’s County, PEI. This forest is just a portion of the 2000 acres our organization manages for the provincial government.
The Wabanaki-Acadian forest continues to be threatened throughout the region. Donate $200 to help restore and protect one acre of public forest land. Your generous contribution will help us to preserve native trees, restore seed sources, and remove invasive species.
In return, you will receive a charitable tax receipt, an invitation to a guided walk on the property, and most importantly, the satisfaction of knowing you helped restore this forest habitat for future generations to come.
